About

Welcome to Venice 2014, an online exhibit developed by students in my ARTH 470Z: Venice, a seminar offered during the spring semester of 2014 at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This site offers visitors the opportunity to see our students' research on this remarkable city.

This is the fourth exhibit on Venice.  Venice 1 was developed in the spring of 2007, Venice 2 in the fall of 2008, and Venice 3 in fall 2011. Our student curators this year are Keeley Anderson, Alexandra Fahey, Katie Frazier, Olivia Greco, Sarah Hazel, Madison Martin, Mason Moorman, Kiauna Munnis, Brianna Nieland, Eynav Ovadia, and James Stewart.

HOW TO VISIT OUR GALLERIES:  You can navigate through the galleries from the ABOUT page either by clicking on the exhibit at the bottom of this page, or by using the dropdown menu above under EXHIBITS. We hope you enjoy the exhibit.

Should you wish to visit earlier exhibits on Venice, Venice 2, can be found at this site; and Venice 3 is here.

The seminar is indebted to Tim Owens and Ryan Brazell of the Department of Instructional Technology at the University of Mary Washington not only for their instruction in technology, but for their generosity, enthusiasm, and commitment to our project.  We thank you both.
